Should Black People Be Christians?

7 Views· 27 Nov 2021

Should black people be Christians? Are black Christians "Uncle Toms" as has been suggested by some christophobic critics of our faith? Or is there evidence in the bible that Christianity has never been about race, but rather is built upon our belief and trust in Christ, regardless of our skin color or ancestral lands? Does the bible really mean that there will be people from "every nation, tribe, people and language" who receive salvation through faith in Christ?

In this video we will attempt to address those very questions and more.

One of the arguments used by opponents to Christianity is that the gospel accounts of the life of Jesus were stolen from Egypt, from the myths of Horus. This of course has been thoroughly refuted for years, but some still teach this lie to others. Even though this has been debunked, some today are still being trapped by this and even have their faith shaken because of it. For the sake of time I didn't go into every detail about the false Horus/Jesus connection. I will offer more specific details refuting claims made by those who say that Jesus is merely a Europeanized version of the Egyptian deity in the comments section.

A few years ago, I was dumb enough to go to a white Christian church. They were jokingly talking about lynching me before service began. Needless to say I never went back...

They’ve done that everywhere, not just in church - at work, school, same thing. Even to this day when blacks move into their communities they often experience racist harassment. I didn't favor going to white churches, some of the ppl in them act nice but with human nature most are going to favor and reflect their own culture. And I think that's why it's best for each ppl to have their own church etc. Sometimes it's done out of evil and sometimes it's done out of natural protectiveness. But, as we say, when ppl reject or mistreat you it’s for your protection from God so you know to stay clear of their reach before it’s too late. I also notice that a lot of black men in relationship with them whether they are in the church or not are just as biased against other blacks, esp bw, as racist whites are. That shows it's from their cultural influences rather than biblical principle or Christian. But blacks into them would rather deflect onto Christianity which does not teach any of that, rather then hold the ppl acting that way accountable. It shows they are really following whiteness and pursuing a relationship with them because of it rather than with Jesus or actually studying scripture.

@1PathwaytoFreedom: Most Blacks reject their Afrocentric nature and embrace European nature. Better known as a "negropean".
