Christianity is just referring to following Jesus/Yeshua as your savior, nothing to do with the traditions of men or self serving interpretation's ppl give. The bible tells you itself not to make images of anything in heaven or on earth to worship, it says to worship in spirit and in truth. It also warns that ppl will take 'winds of doctrine' and misinterpret them so you must study the scripture for yourself, and test what ppl are saying to determine if the person is rightly dividing scripture or not. And if they are not you are not to go to their church, simple as that. Most ppl don't learn the scripture for themselves by reading it in its entirety to make sure things are being taught in proper context. In addition to growing in your relationship with our Lord and Savior first. + A Muslim is not a believer that Jesus died for our sins so their belief is not interchangeable or the same as those who do. Whites have their own culture that they center everything upon be it education, religion or law. Due to that and the fact blacks have been disrupted and no longer seek to create a black centered culture of their own, they seek acceptance and approval from non blacks which works against their sense of self worth and stability- caught up in seeking value from other groups, &often withholding it from their own cycle. We had started creating black centered bibles with black imaged representations in them and we had started to build positive black centered communities at one time which put us in a healthier state of mind socially. However, that all changed due to our situation here and o/s influences, and now a loss of desire by many blacks to do so. Because many blacks have close relationships with whites, some are left feeling inferior because society promotes whites or close proximity as the standard in all sectors and blacks are impacted by that. But because blacks aren't interested in their own identity but prefer to integrate with others to the point of losing their own uniqueness or respect for it, they often suffer low self worth. Point is, you must build and maintain your own self worth, you can't depend on others to do it for you.
