NEFF Shuts Down China Town in Namibia Fed up with them stealing from Africans

Rubber bullets, tear gas and arrests shattered the Windhoek morning today as police units moved in to disperse protestors who had gathered in China Town. This was after the arrest of Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters member Michael Amushelelo, who had shut down shops in China Town on Thursday. His actions followed the Namibia Revenue Agency destroying what it termed counterfeit goods to the tune of N$5 million, which it claimed were imported illegally by Namibian entrepreneurs.
